Well, if you can't get a different room.....I would just ask her staright up..Also ...some girls can see thru others, like week points...I'm not saying you have any...just it's a human nature thing.Plus, she could be reading you all wrong.I think have it out with her...Show NO FEAR...but be nice, o.k....and if that doesn't work...sounds like, this gal...is like a kind of bully.
They thrive, on others....like to win in everything.I have seen them come and go, and they are not nice people...But...try what I say to do, and then try and get another room...if possible. The worse thing, with that is they say no...But! you can make her life hell too you know...if she doesn't pull-her-head-in.She has smelt a fear maybe from you?.......girls can, so face her...be strong!!
MOST IMPORTANT. show no fear! good luck. Big hug oo

Sometimes roommates just don't click. If you have given it a fair amount of time and it is still not improving, you should go to your RA or whatever your dorm adviser is called and ask for a change. Most colleges are more than happy to do this since they do not want to risk losing you as a student. Before you go - make a good case for why you want the change. Start a journal and record for one week some of the things that your roommate says or does that are making you uncomfortable. Then you will have something concrete to use to make a case for wanting the change. If that doesn't work - you may have to ask your parents to intervene, The powers that be tend to listen to the people paying the tuition!

You can't make her like you.....but you can sit down with her and raise your concerns. Open a line of conversation like "I've noticed that there seems to be some tension between us. Is there something I'm doing that is bothering you?"

See where this gets you. Maybe she's just a little shy and uncomfortable around strangers? Give it some time and if she doesn't warm up to you...stay on your side of the room.

Good luck!

If talking to her does not work, then get a new roomate. Try getting drunk with the roomate, that will open them up and the truth about their feelings will come out.

The best thing you could do is talk to her. Ask her straightly what she wants and what she hates. Then do the things she wants and avoid doing things that she hates. You just need courage and confidence to do this.

Another option is to buy him/her a gift. A simple one will do. Just make sure that it comes from your heart and then apologize to him/her.

Another one is writing an apology letter to her. Leave it on his/her bed or in his/her locker. The letter should contain how sorry you are and how you are very desperate in being friends with him/her.

Hope this helps you! May you be friends with her again!
