My size is closer to the "plus size" avatars featured on the editing page, but the clothes they have aren't cute. That's the only thing that bothers me. They need a new plus size selection. Otherwise, even though I'm happy with my real life size, I don't really care what my avatar looks like. I care that no one has developed a complex or eating disorder from looking at avatars. (Yeah, that last comment was a bit sarcastic, but hey!)

The avatars are just pictures. And they do have a "plus sized" option in the clothing.

The truth behind it is, an avatar is pretty much an idealized version of yourself, or what you would like others to see. Not many people are comfortable enough with themselves to admit, "Yeah, I'm heavy. And that's okay," Which I find to be a terrible shame.

For the girl avatars you can make them with plus sizes. I'm not sure about the guy ones. But that tells us the our skewed society believes that thin people are better-looking, more powerful, confident, smarter and all around better than fat fat people.

I'm more offended by the fact that I can't find a avatar that looks as mature and wise as I do. I would like to see more options so I can make my avatar look more like who I would like to be and not who somebody else thinks I should like to be.

what's "fat"? because of the fact i've got seen MANY thicker or particularly obese women who're lots warmer than your well-known twig. i might decide to circulate out with a woman who wasn't so strict with what she ate - some women are because of the fact human beings won't supply them a smash. They get mad at themselves for eating "extreme calorie snacks" like lettuce... sure, inspire workout. sure, inspire an progression of their weight-help plan. yet you would be unable to easily bluntly say they are actually not appealing because of the fact they have some better pounds. Say it sufficient, those females commence occurring crash diets, and doing outrageous issues like starting to be bulimics. I agree, many human beings indexed right here are kit, in simple terms attempting to get B.A. so they supply the completed "U R appealing as urself & adult men shud love u 4 who u r!" bull crap. yet there is the thank you to be life like, collectively as additionally paying interest to the fact those are people - they have thoughts, emotions, and specific, attractiveness. supply them targets and help, not grievance and extra low shallowness. i'm constructive they get that sufficient by potential of others around them. The transition is a slow technique, they like encouragement and desire.

Totally messed up, I agree. My avatar looks somewhat like me, but I'm a little more stocky than that.

Since we are a fat nation, I think that means we as a society are in total denial!

The avatar I have is my *ACTUAL* pic. I am sorry if you find that offensive, or if you feel I am showing off. I truly did not mean to offend you...
