This question doesn't make any sense uless you are asking how much dirt did you take out. What is a round hole? Do you mean a cylinder or a half sphere. Need more info.

There is no dirt in a hole- only at the bottom and sides of it. Was this a trick question?

It's a hole. But the amount of dirt it would hold ain't 27. It would be more or less than it would take to refill it!

I don't believe you were trying to ask a trick question, otherwise you would have put it in Trivia; so...what you need is to find the volume of a cylinder.

Volume = pi*radius*radius*height = 3.14159(1.5)(1.5)(9) = 63.62 cubic feet

Maybe you should have asked how much dirt can you fit inside this hole?

i've got heard this question maximum of cases. it quite is a hollow real? so there, at present is not any airborne dirt and dust in there. in spite of the undeniable fact that, if the question became how lots airborne dirt and dust CAN slot in the hollow, nicely it is a distinctive question in any case.
