Partition it into 3 nations, support full Kurdish independence, and get out fast, since we may need those troops in Korea o Iran or Pakistan.

The whole American occupation plan always was unworkable.

We need to fully support the troops. Iraq is in the middle of a civil war, whether people want to admit it or not.Our troops need more numbers over there, if they are going to be able to do the job there. It might be wise to divide the territories up into three separate states to accommodate the ethic tribes. They would need a governing body to oversee the area, like our federal government does. This could be represented equally by the three main factions in the federal government. Then after they have done this, we should get out. It is not up to us to govern other sovereign countries.

What is being done - all of the people who doubt the actions that we are taking are putting us at risk and somehow have come to believe that we are no longer threatened and that everything will just go away if we were to pull out - nothing could be further from the truth.

I wish people would watch news shows like the Fox News station with Sean Hannity and Bill OReilly and listen to the truth instead of all of these lies that the liberal media is spreading like a contagious disease.

Our troops believe in what they are fighting for - that is why they are there - there is no draft in place - we are fighting the terrorists and it makes me sick that it seems so many have forgotten why and think that if we just ignore the threats - they will go away - Clinton did that once and look what happened.. and meanwhile everyone blames Bush - People need to start questioning all of these lies and learn the truth for themselves cause all of this that is out there - is just fiction - all of it.

We should put Saddam back in charge and go back to selling him chemical weapons and keeping Iraq from selling oil by selling weapons to Iran to stay at war with him, like the good ole days in the '80's.
It's either that, or pull our troops back to the borders and seal Iraq off until they come up with their own government, giving them half of the profits from our oil companies to rebuild what we blew up.
