how did you know that you found the person you want to marry? sure, some say "you just know", but there must be something that sets this person apart from others. is there a sure-fire sign that says this is the person you should marry?

For me there where two things...when we first started dating I wasn't sure about the relationship because we had been friends first so I broke it off. Well then I started dreaming about kissing him every night and I would wake up with this feeling like butterflies in my stomach and after a week of dreaming this every night I called him and asked if we could just take things really slow and so we did.
The second thing happened after we had dated for a few months and we had just finished watching a movie together and the end credit music was playing and he started slow dancing with me and he kissed me and I just had this feeling go through my whole body, like tingles, and I just knew at that second that I would marry him. And I did.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the answer really is "you just know." I was married and divorced and had thought I knew all about love. I met a wonderful man and all my experiences of love suddenly seemed meaningless. I realized that I fell in love with him at first sight. The feelings I have for him are so much stronger and so different from the feeling of love I had experienced earlier in my life that I now know I divorced because I had married the wrong man. My new guy is my soul mate. All others pale before him. I just knew when I met him that he was the true love of my life.

Why does everyone continue to ask questions like this. You want to marry go for, you don't then don't. There is divorce as an option if the marriage doesn't work so it's win win. Unless you believe in god then in that case I can't help.

It's when your mind and heart are in harmony. When your intuition and guts give you a calm and peaceful feeling. When you see yourself living with that person happily in future. When you're at peace and contentment within yourself!
That's rare. And frankly speaking, I feel a little jealous and a lot envy toward the people who find that feeling. Not everyone is as lucky! I hope you'll find that at some point in your life! I hope I'll find it as well.

On our first date...(10 years ago).. We were at the drive in and out of nowhere a big Heart shaped balloon that said "I love you" wrapped itself around the hood ornament of his car..He told me to go get it, and of course me being shy at the time I didn't...It was there for a while and finally when I opened the car door to get it ...the balloon flew away...I think it was a sign from God because that man is the best thing that ever happened to me...

it's just a connection you feel. I've dated many men I JUST KNEW i'ld never marry when you meet the ONE you do know maybe not right away but, at some point it hits you I don't need anything else. if you have to question it move on.

there's infatuation where u want to call them all the time and then there's love where u feel like your life would be out of wack with out them you cant even look at other people like u used to no one is as attractive as that person mentally or physically

When I was able to connect with my husband on more then just a sexual note . We would just sit and talk the conversations didn't really have to be about anything i just loved to be around him and hear his voice.

I knew because we both wanted the same things, we had different views on specific topics but in general, we were compatible mentally, sexually, abd in all ways. That's how I knew...

it takes time and we have complete honesty and talk about anything and everything.every day things are better and better. how i knew is there was no hesitation when we decided. if there is a hesitation-IMO-something is telling you it is not the right thing at that moment.
