Since the memory stick is a flash disk and not a harddisk, there´s no magnetic stuff left after the deletion, so sorry.
As many othe guys said here, backup is a great thing.
just copy the folder X:/PSP/GAMESAVES to your computer every now and then

Will NO ,but if you download the saves "copy them" to the computer if you delete the saves on the psp you have the copy already on the computer.

yeah u quite can. first acquire it on your ocmputer. than plug your psp into your comptuer with a usb. then drag the sport record and stuf into video games. then double clik on video games.(Psp record). after taht if there are different folders in there drag it in to that. then it may artwork. it worked for me. greater issues?? you should back them up on your pc, so you always have them. The files aren't very big so they wont take up too much space.
As for retriving them after you delete them, sorry they're gone forever.
