I've never seen one swim, but in 'The Little Mermaid', Sebastian the crab or lobster or whatever CAN swim!

No shiit they live in the sea, have you ever seen one swim? When you see them in tanks at the markets and Red Lobster, they just crawl around the bottom. "They live in the ocean" is not good enough of an answer.

Can Lobsters Swim

Crabs do not. They move sideways across the ocean floor. However, a lobster can crawl but can also swim by using its tail as a rudder and flipping it back and forth.. And yes, I have seen a lobster swim.

Chow!!

No, I like to eat both of those too much. If I had one as a pet I'd grow fond of them and never be able to eat crab or lobster again. I can't give that up, or my bathtub.

Lobsters have things called swimmerets on the under side of their tails.

I think lobsters can wave their tales rapidly making them able to escape danger... I think they swim backwards when they do.
