I bought final destination 3 how come when I watch it it stops up. my friend has this movie to and he said his dont work.

Mines works fine . Just take it back . And tell them it doesn't work. And they'll give you a new one. Just bring your recpicte.

It's because they've compressed it too much. Mine does the same. I've got the 2-disk version where you can play the theatrical version or the thrill ride version. When I play the theatrical version though, everytime it gets to the last 30 minutes, the other version pops-up and gets stuck. The problem is the studios use dual-layer disks that hold twice as much. The laser scans a portion of the dvd, then backs up and scans the same portion, only deeper to access the 2nd layer. This usually may cause a short pause and then clear itself up. Sometimes though, the compression is so much that the firmware in your dvd player is not updated enough to uncompress all that info. So it gets stuck there and yes, it CAN tear up your dvd player. The only way to fix it is to send it back to the manufactuer for an update. But who wants to do that. They should make them to update themselves via the net. As mentioned, The Matrix was notorious when it came out. It tore up many a dvd player. So did the first pressing of the Sixth Sense and Halloween Ressurection. My suggestion to you for Final Destination 3 is to do what I am doing. Waiting on just a single-disk version to come out WITHOUT the thrill-ride edition of the movie so it'll have less on the disk and not be as compressed.. I'm dying to know what happens the last 20 minutes of the frickin' film ;-)

Final Destination 3. Casino Royal is nothing good compared to the other Bond movies.

that is weird. a few years ago the same thing happened to me when i bought the matrix. i bought one and it wouldn't play. returned it twice and still no luck. i went to rent it and the same thing. i have still not seen that movie.

if its the real dvd take it out and puff on it and wipe it w/a cloth and try that
