Yes they will make the playoffs!!
Dwight is steping up his defense, he's a beast in the paint and he's the leading rebounder in the NBA. Pretty much a reflexion of Lebron James except with different abilities.
Darko will start instead of Battie. Darko is an amazing shoot blocker. And did anyone watch in the worlds? He was 5th in rebounds 11th in points and first in blocked shoots. And thats when he's playing with the best players in the world. He also recorded 3 double doubles in six games. However his team as a whole was young (all in their 20's except for a few) and they didn't have much of a chance.
Everyone saw how well Jameer did at the end of the season. Amazing sums it up pretty well.
JJ Redick, well we all know about him. And his back shouldn't be a problem.
Grant Hill is healthy and well it's Grant Hill so...
And they have the best bench out of any NBA team. Mainly Carlos Arroyo. Arguably the best point gaurd in the FIBA. But his team however was horrable.
Despite the $hity season they had last year the Magic will make the playoffs. They may not get far but they'll get there. And remember Darko will be playing for a contract so I expect a lot from him. I mean everyone does twice as good when they are playing for a contract. And Grant Hills contract will also expire.
Every single player on their starting lineup has something to prove, so they will definatly be in the playoffs. I guarantee it. I'm suprised that everyone here thinks otherwise.

Yes, they will. They improved their team by adding Redick and Milicic is finally due for his breakout. Dwight Howard will be an all-star.
They will get wins off the Bobcats and Hawks in the Southeast, while their Central counterparts will be taking wins from one another since it's such a tough damned division.

They are a solid young team. If J.J. Redick gets significant minutes and Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson stay healthy than they have a 60% chance
