As far as I am aware, buff is either the colour of an envelope (that sort of browny/biege colour) or it can mean in the nude. It can also mean to 'buff' something up as in 'nails' or a sideboard (a bit like polishing).

theres lots of meanings, buff can refer to bein in very good shape, in the buff is naked, buffing, can be to flatten out remove a scratch or rough edges from soemthing
