Honestly the magic of Harry Potter is not in the movies. The movies are only a way someone sees the book, every person can interprit the books in different ways. I personally think that the magic lies in the detailing of the books and how much time and effort J.K. Rowling put into the books, if you go to her web site she has an article' that she wrote. The article states that she spent over seven hours editing every detail not in the whole book, but seven hours before she needed a break and played "minesweeper"....she also said she went from being not to good at the game, to being very abled in the skill of minesweeper.

To me, the movies are only a window into how J.K. Rowling saw the book. I am glad of the way it came out, it sticks to the books, and if you go to mugglenet.com you can tell its actually very true to what she wanted.

Did you know that Disney and Pixar wanted to buy ALL of the rights for the Harry Potter movies and make it into a movie...with animated 'action-figure' esque Harry, Ron, and Hermione characters flying around in their animated glory....I am glad J.K. Rowling turned that image down.

And about Dan going into other movies....Its not that big of a shocker. He's an actor, and not bad either...Do you get offended when Kirstin Dunst plays in movies...because one of her first movies was 'Little Woman'. And also, Rupert Grint is doing other movies aswell...

I act in my school mussicals and it is fun to be with the same people but sometimes, it is very restricting because the people judge you and think they know how you act when they might not know how much 'presence' you bring to the stage, or to the screen. And I am an example of someone who brought more to the stage than the Directors thought. Every year I was put into the chorus group, with middle schoolers. And get this...last year I was with all of the 7th and 8th graders...their 4-5 feet tall...I'm 5'8"...and It only irked me 'cause I was in JR year...and now as a Senior, I finally have two small speaking roles...but their in the supporting lead sections!

Of course not!!! I mean he can do other movies and shows and still be Harry Potter. It doesn't matter what other roles he plays if he still can act as Harry in the HP series. I think it was god for him to experiences other acting jobs other than Hp, because he's beign doing that for so long. Is a nice break but he will be HP forever. There's no one that can act and look as good as him in the HP movies.

No an actor can act in different roles, to me he will always be harry potter, but obviously when he finishes filming harry potter he is going to have to expand his repetoire and what better time than to start now.
