Eris (formerly known as Xena) is the biggest known Trans-Neptunian Object (object orbiting beyond Neptune),

TNOs include within their number Kuiper Belt Objects (like Pluto) Scattered Disk Objects (further out than the Kuiper Belt) like Eris and Extended Scattered Disk objects (even further out) (like Sedna),

The Kuiper belt is an area of the solar system extending from the orbit of Neptune (at 30 AU) to 44 AU from the Sun.

The Scattered Disk is an area of the solar system extending from the edge of the Kuiper Belt and beyond up to the Oort Cloud

Typically, the scattered objects are characterised by orbits with medium and high eccentricities but their perihelia bring them no closer than 35AU, clear from direct influence of Neptune.

134340 Pluto has a Perihelion of 29 AU
and Aphelion of 49 AU

136199 Eris has a Perihelion of 37.77 AU
and Aphelion of 97.56 AU

90377 Sedna has a Perihelion of 76 (±7) AU and Aphelion of 975 AU.

So the logic of all that is this:

Eris is not a Kuiper Belt Object and cannot therefore be its largest member. So Warm Soapy Water is wrong. Pluto is the largest Kuiper Belt Object and Eris is the largest Scattered Disk Object and largest TNO, too,

The largest kuiper belt object is called 2003UB313...now known as Eris. It is only slightly larger than Pluto.

Pluto, unless 2005UB313 is counted as a kuiper belt object.

Mack the Knife is right Eris is not a KBO and Pluto is therefore the largest KBO, It is 2300 kilometres in diameter,
