I have a 16X80 mobile home. It cost me $32,000. Brand new. It was $2000 to get electric put in. $1,000 for septic tank and installation (if there are no problems). $300 for inspection of tank. The cost of the home includes delivery and setup plus block to set it on and perrimter foundation. You have to have your tank inspected before they will turn on your electric. $800 for a water tap if you want city water, about $600 for well water. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

It depends on what state you're in, its laws by county or parish, and the utility setup fees. The establishment of sewer or a septic tank is another factor. Some states may require that your property be an acre and one-fourth for an adequate septic system for your home.

Since you know wherein your property sets, call the county tax office and the water and utility companies and determine what fees are required for hookup. Some mobile homes and their respective septic systems require an inspection and registration before they may be used.

Telephone hookup may be an additional expense because the company may have to erect a pole adjacent to your home to carry the lines.
