Since sharks are kind of not possible. Does anyone know anthing about being able to have a pet jellyfish? I can afford to pay the price, but I don't know if jellyfish are an option for a pet. If you know anything, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can own pet sharks. I've seen them for sale at exotic pet stores. The sharks I've seen are about 18" long, so you'd need a large salt water aquarium. Pet stingrays are cool. I had one that was from Baja, about the size of my palm. It would eat squid from our hands.

You can get sharks and keep them a lot easier than jellyfish, which I actually don't think I have ever seen for sale. I like the freshwater "sharks" the best since the tanks are so much easier to maintain. Irredescent sharks are neat and there are some that have silver bellies and black backs with whiskers. I don't know what they are called but they look pretty.

sharks are actually possible. They require a huge tank though and really good care and need an expert, and someone who is willing to go diving down into the tank. http://www.sharksupply.com/stock.htm
these are sharks for sale, but im not saying you should get one. im just saying people have them. Pet jellyfish are boring, and you cant have one because some are endangered and dont do good in captivity

depends what kind. some jellyfish are sturdy enough to live in an aquarium, but many species could die if they slosh up against the container to hard. Also remember you are going to have to feed it so you are either are going to have to put zoo plankton or minnows in the tank. Finally where are you going to get one? the ones that wash up on the beach are usually doing so because they have reproduced and are about to croak anyway.

Sharks are not out of the question, I have kept several small species before. Jelly fish are really really hard to keep alive.

human beings do shop sharks as pets. not those saltwater, ocean sharks nevertheless. They strengthen too enormous for any enjoyed ones aquarium for carry, and maximum are secure under the regulation, so their advertising and procuring is often unlawful, till in the event that they're at an institute like a zoo or marine middle. besides, you will possibly desire an enclosure of various thousand gallons to hold a million shark, and that keeps to be not adequate. i've got not heard of human beings retaining jellyfish as pets. they're everyday to sting and such. i don't think of it is a few thing you may truthfully locate or shop. How might you strengthen adequate plankton to feed it? you may look into freshwater sharks. they're available in maximum puppy shops and incorporate: - Rainbow Shark - pink Tailed Black Shark - Black Shark - Bala Shark the 1st 2 strengthen approximately 6 inches long, yet nonetheless desire a stable sized tank, a minimum of three ft, ideally a minimum of fifty 5 gallons. Black Sharks strengthen somewhat extra desirable and as a result desire extra desirable tanks. Bala Sharks would desire to be stored in shoals, and a shoal of 5 desires some thing like a one hundred gallon tank, a minimum of. i might say a hundred and fifty gallons, because of the fact each and every of them can ideal 12" truthfully. suggestion: - study on any fish earlier you purchase it. procuring a fish because of the fact its stable seeking to you is the worst pitfall in this activity and the fish often dies on you. do not rush in this!

You can get a bala, red tail, rainbow, or iridescent shark, just to name a few. I don't see why you'd want a jelly fish. That would be lots of trouble for little action.
