the theme is what the atmosphere is going to be like and how everything at the dance will be decorated. ex. the Oscars: you might have giant statues painted gold, old Hollywood glamour, movie posters everywhere. that sort of thing. most of the times for Homecoming dances people dress theme while others go formal-see what the theme is and then decide. good luck!

My high school homecoming is tomorrow, it means (for high schools at least) that all the sports of that school are played at home, they have little gay celebration for it.

It means the basis and inspiration for the whole evironment/decor/atmosphere of the evening....mainly the dance though......
It's so girls can try to plan their wardrobe/accessories to match if they desire.
