I consider myself a Liberal Democrat (although I have many beliefs that are certainly shared by conservatives as well).
I have traveled to Iceland, Luxembourg, Belguim, France, Austria, West Germany, East Germany, a unified Germany, Communist Czechoslovakia and that's it. Still haven't been to Canada or Mexico...which is amazing.

We visited 17 different countries in the last 12 months, it was wonderful to see the capitalist system at work and doing well.
I am a capitalist, or anti-socialist, and amazingly enough so is the rest of the world. Now if our democrats here could learn something from everyone else.
Their so called progressiveness is in reality regressive to the extreme.

Yes. And, I subscribe to neither tradition. I am a voting American, I have had voting affiliations in both major parties, and am currently registered to a "third" party. To so strongly attach yourself to either of those philosophies (since both are now viewed as being the basis of membership in one party or the other) is really disrespectful of our first President, George Washington, and his asking us to not affiliate with parties.
