will a figure 8 puffer fish live happily with red rainbowfish?

although they may get along, the puffer fish is a brackish water fish.. i dont think that the rainbow fish is..

Figure 8 puffer fish require marine salt added to the tank rather then freshwater salt. This salt may or may not affect the color of a rainbow fish. If you are asking if they will beat each other up, I think that they will get along without too many problems.
