I've thought for a while that it might be handy to have another arm that grew out of the top of my head. Sure, I couldn't wear a hat or anything, and it would make getting haircuts more awkward, not to mention raising usual questions (if you have an arm on your head, do you use underarm deodorant or shampoo?). But on the other hand (so to speak) it would be easy to hold things where you could see them, to reach things that were high up, and grab a hold of something and still have two hands to manipulate it with. I think it would be neat!

Gills would be cool for messing about underwater. Tentacles could be interesting just to see what feeling something with a tentacle was like. I think a set of those infra-red sensitive pits that some snakes have would be best though.

A direct mind-to-mind communicator. Just build it into the current folds of the brain.
It would be much better if all humans had this and not just me.
Think of how easy teaching would become. Or caring for the sick who could not talk. Or those in a coma. Or born mute or deaf.
Even finding people trapped during a disaster (mine cave-in, earthquake).

I always thought toddlers should come with a handle on their back and wheels on their feet, so you can roll them along easily like luggage. Other moms will know what I mean.
Meanwhile, you can always dress toddlers in bib overalls and rollerskates, I guess.
For myself, I think having a tail would be cool!

It would be better if you talked about extra senses or even superpowers. But this is okay too. how about wings? feathery white soft wings that sprout when you want and then mingle to your back when you dont need it.
