several things may have happened One is that the filter has come out of its position inside the pan that's why you have to over fill.second you might have the wrong stick for that transmission Third.Someone may have put a deep pan on it .They make a shallow trans pan and a deep pan. stop by your local trans shop.I bet for less than 40 dollars they can solve your problem

Those "new fangled" machines can damage your transmission rather than help it. Because the operators of those machines DO NOT change your transmission filter when they pump out your fluid, they flush the fluid back and forth through the machine and then suck out the old fluid. This washing and sucking action can collapse the transmission filter or dislodge it and you end up with a transmission that has been starved of fluid and needing to be rebuilt. Cyclops has the right idea, it needs to go to a transmission shop, not a quick lube place and let an experienced mechanic check it out. Unless you have added extra fluid the only way that it can get "extra" is through the trans cooler and that will be coolant mixing with it, not good for your transmission either. Hope that helps some. Good luck.

you should work out some metal tubes lower than the hood one will or should be red and that would want to be the transmission all you want to do is keep on with the vendors guide and pull out the dipstick through its manage , it quite is an same same you employ a funnel to operate transmission fluid too. wish that helps and best of luck.

Why don't you take your vehicle to a reliable shop before you DESTROY your transmission???

They have these "new fangled" machines that can remove all the ATF from your transmission and torque converter. That way you can stop asking the geniuses here on "Answers" for advice they are generally not equipped to answer.

If you more fluid than normal ,you could have a damaged, trans cooler, in the radiator. you need to have it checked.

Wrong dipstick? (too long)
Loose valve body bolts?
Filter tube came loose?

Take it to a shop, or drop the pan yourself and see?
