All the answers are correct. (A) It will generally fade away in about a second unless it has some special significance for you. (B) It will form a lasting memory if it's someone you know and care about. (C) It will last as long as you looked at the photo unless like (B) it has some meaning. And (D) will have the same effect as (B). All the answers depend on the circumstance. However, if you are referring strictly to an "after-image", that is more in the physical realm than the psychological one, and these phenomena also depend on light and contrast, and length of time the image is viewed.
