My brother requested Baby wipes to bathe, and antibacterial hand sanitizer. And food seasoning to spice up his food (a Cajun spice) For fun, I sent chips and salsa, crackers, blank stamped envelopes so he could write his wife. Another thing that he loved was a talking picture frame of his kids with their voices recorded. We also sent DVDs and a portable DVD player with the screen built in. They get tired of the MRE's so snacks are really appreciated, unless there is a Bx somewhere. My brother did not have access to one. He roughed it big time. Send letters of appreciation too. Don't write about anything negative going on so they won't worry.

Send him those butter cookies that come in the tin containers. Also---gum, breath mints, soft toilet paper, prepackaged snacks.
Don't send anything that will melt in the heat, like chocolate. It's really hot out there!
