depends what you want to be. twenty is too late to be
a teenage anything. on the other hand a lot of people
who have retired have then retrained and started new
careers. the minute you decide it is too late it is.

I really hope not. I'm turning 55 on Sunday and I have lots of unfulfilled ambitions for the next 30 or 40 years. Then I might retire.

I think it all depends on what you want to be ... if you are talking about entering into a new career, having a baby, running marathons, the human body will dictate the limitations... so age does make a difference.

At age 50, it's hard to be a pro basketball player. Otherwise age should make no difference.

Sad to say the answer is yes.
Many occupations are age sensitive and some educational levels required are better suited for a younger person.

yes, but that age varies for each person. you are too old when you start to "feel" old. when you have no drive to learn new things, when your mind is so bad you forget your kids' names, or you are in so much pain you can't get up each day, then maybe you should accept that you've come as far as you're going to go. before that point, i say there always a chance! :)

Never! A doctor in my area graduated medical school at age 77. I put a picture of him on my fridge once.
