I think you might be too obsessed with looks. Especially your own, honey. Your name to your questions & answers are enough of a clue to a smart woman as to what type of job you probably applied for anyway.
You might really do better to work on the combination of intelligence, competence, capabilities, and then attractiveness if you're really all that concerned about advancing an ethical career.

Attractiveness is a desired trait in human beings, and we as people tend to think attractive people are Smarter, friendlier, more athletic, better partners etc.
In your situation, Ihope the job doesn;t require actual learned skills (which Im sure you have, why else would you have applied), but it calls into question that companies hiring practices.
If the job you got was as a waitress/bartender/salesperson, then attractiveness combined with personality does correlate to doing well at that job (for the reasons I just mentioned)
It can see however, how it would make you feel very empty and bitter, and also highly suspicious of people. Almost as if the rest of you is immaterial, and the only thing you are good for is cosmetic beauty

The media is responsible for all of the hype about looks and people fall for it every time. I've been lucky, the same as you have. I have earned alot with my looks and it's B.S. Sure, I'll take the money but sometimes a person just wonders in all fairness if they were indeed the best candidate. These days, we are supposed to be rail thin, have perfect hair and perfect everything. The famous painter Botticelli painted women that were considered ravishing in his time. They would be considered plus-size today. Thanks to Twiggy in the 60's, we can't eat anymore. The old school Hollywood icons had a body. Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe both wore a size 16.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaah such is the life of the gorgeous person... while the others must try to prove themselves with hard work and dedication.
I see it all the time... Its a fact of life... The human species desires pretty things to look at.

That seems pretty scuzzy. I know what you mean; its nice to be appreciated for your talents and qualities, not just your hotness.
But, look at it this way, at least your hot. That's something you cant buy. And looks do go a long way in this world. If your pleasant to look at, people will assume you are pleasant to deal with.
