I'd say 41

7 can be split into the sum of 3 and 4 (34)
5 can be split into the sum of 4 and 1 (41)

7 = 3 + 4
5 = 4 + 1

Alternatively, look at this as a subtraction:
7-3=4
5-?=?

So given your answers, I'd say the best answer is 41.

I agree with bandf. It is 41.
It could also be 32 (but that is not a choice).
