You more than likely recieved a fine schedule with your ticket. If not contact the county court where you recieved the ticket in. Such fines vary in different local jurisdictions.

You are better off going into court and seeing the judge and tell him you are willing to plead no contest... meaning you are not admitting to being guilty or not guilty and see if they could reduce the original ticket price and charge the account as a parking violation. At least this way you don't have to worry about getting points off your driving record or your insurance premium to go up due to this violation. You also don't have to worry about paying to go to traffic school... you can save that for later because court will only let you do traffic school only once or twice. You are better off paying a little to the court then going to traffic school, paying for that and paying your ticket... Your chances are slim in fighting the ticket...the only way you will get off that is if the cop doesnt show up to the trial so that would be your best option!

Get a traffic lawyer and fight the ticket - you can almost always plead down to a non-moving violation.

Speeding tickets can increase your auto insurance. It's cheaper in the long run to plead down and not have the ticket on your driving record, and pay more up front.

It won't cost anything if you get out of the ticket. But if you can't, maybe you can go to traffic school to have the ticket dismissed. That will cost you about $45.00 for the class and you may be responsible for any court costs as well.

Pay for an attorney to handle it, get it reduced and pay the fine. It will be worth it as your insurance premiums will not increase.
