Totally. That's why I stick to jeans and a t-shirt.

Yes, I am tired of all the ads telling us what is new for this season and what you MUST buy. Too many people buy into this and all end up looking alike. You have to find things that look good on you and feel good on you. How you feel is so much more important than being trendy and will save you so much wasted money. Good fabrics, classic styles. Thats all I need.

I noticed this too! For several years in a row already, the styles look so pathetic.
Some styles are Absolutely horrible, especially those bright skirts with big flowers of last summer and those transparent vintage-looking blouses with standing collars of this season together with of course those spooky full khaki skirts.......
I wear whatever I want!
I really like Vogue style, or Burda, which is german. I also like polka dots, checkers, and the style of 60es.
I make my own clothes:)

It's all a conspiracy to make the fashion-conscious spend good money on new clothes that they don't need, and pay ten times as much as the items are actually worth just to have the "latest style". (and of course the right label--have you noticed how much people pay for the privilege of wearing an advertisement?)

I kinda keep them in mind. But I got my own style, what looks good on me might not on the next girl.
