I have had a spider outside my window for about a month or longer it has made a web about half a metre wide and a metre high today i have noticed one small spider which appears to have the same markings but with it being only about one centimetre its hard to tell. The large spider i presume is the mother has brown and white markings on its legs striped and its abdomen is brown white and orange the spider is about four centimetres long

I don't know... but I'm inclined to say... way too many.. big fast house spiders make me jump to often
I really like spiders though... outdoor ones especially
i should imagine the ones outside your window are a male and female rather than mother and offspring.. females are usually much larger than males.
