To me, a loan to a friend is not a loan. If you are going get pissed off about being stuck for the cash, you should never give it in the first place. If a pal of mine is stuck for cash, and i have some, i give it to em. I dont expect to be paud back, but if i am ever stuck, that is the person i will ask first. Friends give, they dont lend.

You should contact your local small claims court. In my area you can sue someone for up to $500 and recoup any filing fees if you win.

i hope you got this in writting. you can send him/her to court, as long as you can proof that it was borrowed money and not a gift, and that he/she agreed to pay in febuary.
