Ginger! I'm not kidding, it's an herbal anti spasmodic.
If you like ginger, eat candied ginger (crystallized ginger) or sushi ginger. If you hate the stuff, go to your health food store at get it pre-packed in capsules. You may have to experiment with how much/ how many, but it really works.
Other things that help- chamomile/mint tea.
Avoiding caffeine,sugar, chocolate and salt 2 weeks before your period.
Exercises, hot water bottles orgasms and Motrin....
Try the ginger though- it's really great.

Okay, some may consider this gross but it works. Have an orgasm! I actually regret that I don't get menstrual cramps more often so I can use my cure. :)

Try Tums...seriously. the same thing that causes heartburn causes cramps. You can also try bananas, the potassium is supposed to help ease them.

put a hot water bottle on your stomach, lye on your front on the bed with relaxing music on and hope to have a nice sleep, you will fell loads better when you wake up

get an empty heat resistant bottle, fill it up with hot (Not boiling!!) water..then press it against ur stomach. Your stomach will start singing loudly and you may feel..all the "liquid" inside will start running outside.
