Asking questions takes away points, answering them gives you points.

jascey is correct except on one thing.
No Best Answer was selected by voters on your question Points Returned: 5 once a question with answers goes to vote,it remains unresolved until a best answer is picked by voters.look at the unresolved Qs they date back 7 months.The only way you get 5 points back is if no one answers.
