Have to agree with the other answer, Hitchcock is the master storyteller as i recall Mr. Price was never in any of Hitch's movies
just watched an interview with Hitch on a replay of an old dick cavett show last night was way cool to hear how he thought of his work and the people he worked with. Price was good in a shakesperian sort of way,had a great evil laugh. But hitchcock knew how to keep you in suspense till just the right time then let you recover till the next time.

Alfred Hitchcock is a genius of suspense, and my all-time favorite movie is Psycho.

But if you want to talk about chills, I guess Vincent is more in the "chills" department.

Despite, the reputation he earned from Psycho and The Birds, Hitchcock was actually did not make thrillers. As it was so well described in a recent documentary called Hitchcocked, which debuted on Encore Mystery in August - Hitchcock told love stories with a bizarre twist. His villains were all "normal" people that we identified with and felt compassion for.

He is actually more of a romantic, though it is only evident if you really study his work.

Well for my money its definitely Alfred ,, he was the master of suspense. As I recollect Price was an actor, and Alfred had the warped mind to create the suspenseful master pieces he did.
