http://www.miraclesofquran.com/index/index54.php

some people try to say quran said only to kill but i have many proves that quran words about fight is for defending only

sura in quran prove that fight in islam for defence only
((((( fight in the way of allah against those who fight against you , but being not hostilities.lo!allah loveth not ,aggressors )))) sura elbaqarah (2_190 )

there is many beautiful stories about prophets in quran read it in this site
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prophets_of_Islam

In our religion, we must respect all the other religions because they are all from GOD. And by the way we MUSLIMS must believe in all the PROPHITS like (Jesus) peace be upon him, (Moses) peace be upon him, (Ishaq) peace be upon him, (Jacob) peace be upon him, (Noah) peace be upon him.. because they are all Messengers from GOD

You will never find any MUSLIM disrespect any of the PROPHITS. Because we are taught in the Quran to believe in all the PROPHITS including (Jesus) piece be upon him.

Read about ISLAM from the right channels, get the knowledge of it instead of talking about things you are not aware of.

Do not judge ISLAM from some Muslim people, not all MUSLIMS give good example of what ISLAM is really about. We cannot judge Christianity from CHRISTIAN people because they are hardly any one practices the real CHRISTIANITY these days.

Like Sarah, I am a Jehovah's Witness. I believe in this religion because its teachings make sense to me, unlike what I was taught in school etc. You can go back to the Bible and check everything, indeed you are encouraged to. The peaceful and unified nature of the organization seems to me to be what religion should be like. Also, the Witnesses are the only religion I have ever come across who have stayed totally neutral in all wars, and have carried out preaching work against enormous opposition, which I regard as practicing what you preach. As time goes by I believe more and more firmly as the signs of the last days become ever more apparent.

I practice Buddhism, though it's not necessarily a religion (it depends on who you ask). I practice the Middle Way because I believe that it is one of the better ways to live your life and understand Reality- it has a focus on positive change and engagement with the world (just as many of the Judeo-Christian-Muslim religions do) but without the negative and destructive dogma, overly used guilt, and pointless schisms and infighting, and forced prosyletation/conversion.

I practice Buddhism because I believe that its message of peace, nonviolence, conscious awareness of the world without judgment, deep insight and understanding our neighbors and enemies is sorely needed in the world. It is largely ignored because it is drowned out by the more ferocious, violently promoted religions of Christianity and Islam, and so most people do not know enough about it to understand it.

It is unfortunate that the only image or representation that many Americans have of Buddha is "that little fat guy that sits on the floor smiling"... I have talked to many people who had previously never known much about Buddhism, and this was the sum of their understanding about it. Buddhists make a great effort to try to understand non-Buddhists and other religions in the world- it would be nice if more Christians and Muslims would make more efforts to try to understand those different than them as well. Buddhists also work behind the scenes, without publicity or fanfare, to try to alleviate or solve the problems in the world that have often been caused by some of the other, more "popular" religions. Unlike these religions, Buddhism has never been forced upon any people or race and the threat of death, rape, or theft has not been used to coerce people into following Buddhism, unlike Christianity and Islam several times in their past.

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a bible based religion. We are christian. I am a member of this organization because it is a united group following the teachings of the bible. I believe that of all the religions currently available. Witnesses strive for the truth with the most zeal. We want accurate knowledge and not comfortable lies

Religion kills; it is when people become obcessed with a good idea to the point of culthood. Live to better yourself and the world around you for others and you can't go wrong despite whatever "religion" you cling to.

I am a Christian, although I think of my faith more as a relationship with God through Jesus Christ than as a religion.
Why am I a Christian?
1. Personal experience with God through Christ
2. Examining the New Testament and the arguments for and against its reliqability
3. Seeing how Christ and His forgiveness transforms lives, and gives hope to the hopeless.
As to the 'Don't preach - it's the worst thing you can do to me' line, - that sounds to me like: 'My mind is made up, don't confuse me with the facts'. However each person has to decide for himself. Faith cannot be imposed, but it can be shared.

I don't believe in "religion". I believe in God, through the doctrines (teachings, etc) of the Baptist faith.

There is a difference between "faith" and "religion".

All religions are the same. They were all created at different times for one of two reasons, to either control the people, or to explain certain things that peolpe were unable to explain yet.
