i am mid 20s. i don't want to look awkward wearing open toe shoes- which would be dressy not flip flops or anything- and no pantyhoes ofcourse in the middle of winter but i can find anything else that would go with my outfit and look nice and young.

yes, it's okay.... as long as the shoe fits the outfit you are wearing.

If it's a dressy, high heeled open toe shoe, that would be great just about anytime. Especially nice if you are wearing a long dress.

I have worn, tennis shoes, slippers, flats, sandles, anything that felt comfortable to a wedding. At my first wedding I went bare foot. At my second wedding I wore slippers. Wear what you feel is comfortable. Depending on where you live if you do not have deep snow then I say go for it. If you live in the great white north I would say no.

Well is they are flip flops DO NOT WEAR THEM but if they are formal and appropriate to wear with a dress than yes....But winter is cold so go to the wedding with boots and when you arrive where your shoes.

Well Dear..........In my day it would be 'de riguer' to wear fully enclosed court shoes to this kind of event - however; like most things now, these conventions have faded - I believe that men are even wearing elasticated 'stick-on' bow ties now!!!! Only a real Cad or Bounder would stoop that low!

So, I expect that nobody will even notice!

I would say it's ok but remember it is winter so you may want to bring some shoes to change into if there is snow.

I think open toed would be fine. Wear your boots until you arrive and then switch to the shoes.

if you're maybe wearing a black dress with black open toed shoes, i really dont see a problem. how old are you? that can sometimes change it also. if theyre cute then why not!
