Well we cant go shopping in the day time because all the disabled parking is taken up by fit young ppl and I don't want to get run over by young ppl going round the shops at speed with shopping trolleys or prams.
Right I'm off to bed need to beat the youngsters to the shop I'm putting knife blades on the wheels of my electric buggy,nite nite.

I will be one of these people in a couple of years,but I completely agree with you!, On the buses where I live there used to be a notice,"Travel earlier and save a seat for a worker",I hope that I and other people remember this

Maybe the heat during the day bothers them too?
Perhaps their daily lives are still busy with cleaning, cooking, babysitting (grandkids) and other things that everyone does?
Maybe because they enjoy their days with loved ones and don't want to spend that time in a store.

They might have other things to do during the day including looking after their grand children,,, our elderly neighbours go shopping always early morning.

Hmmmmm.......Odd since most of them are in bed by 6:00 PM so that they can start the next day at 3:00 AM

Because its fun annoying people! When you are old you can be as grumpy and as miserable as you like and then say ' but I died in the war for you!' Personally I can not wait to stink of wee and boiled cabbage...pass me the sprouts!

Maybe they have to wait for their son or daughter or a kind neighbour to come home from work to take them by car to the supermarket.

my question goes out to the people who don't work either...they come out when we get off work also....
but i didn't know there was separate shopping times for different people...
so if i have the day off from work and want to go to the store--i have to do it during the day?? cuz i am usually laying around on my butt enjoying my day off...

Because day time telly is better than the old rubbish they put on at night.
