The language of the bill does apply to anti-americans, as sure as free speech zones. This was nothing more than Bush taking over the power of the Supreme Court, not to protect you.

Never underestimate the power of under-educated people who think they are over-educated to trust their fearless leaders they watch on propaganda television.

Or, the short answer: Mass Hypnosis.

Because most of us are smart enough to stay away from overly partisan sources of information, are able to actually read the bill in question, and know that it doesn't apply to American citizens even if they are arrested for terrorist activity. Americans have the same rights they have always had. This bill pertains to foreign detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay and in Iraq. It does not suspend any rights guaranteed to Americans under the bill of rights. Stop trying to spin the truth and you might understand this. All your post does is leave me asking 2 questions. Are you a terrorist sympathizer? and, What are you involved in that you fear this so much?

What take over of the Supreme Court. In the detainee case the Supreme Court made it expressly clear that Congress needed to define rules of how detainees would be handled. Guess what? That is exactly what Congress did. Again stop trying to spin the facts.

How boring the anti-Bush comments become. If these critics spent more time assailing the terrorists, we would all be better off. It is disconcerting that there are some Americans who want the President's policies to fail, so they can feel vindicated in their hate tantrums against the President. Read Stratergy by Sammon and see how much the President has achieved. Yes the book is called STRATERGY.

Monkey muffins! If you're a terrorist then this legislation affects you. The ordinary citizen will notice nothing new. However it's too bad the legislation doesn't apply to everyone who is anti-American. Then we could round up Teddy Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, the Clintons, Michael Moore, and on and on...

Because it is not true.

Can you read? Read the bill and all of its provisions, not some propaganda smear piece.

I am absolutley amazed that people will not do research and just believe whatever lie is put in front of them. You know, it makes you look like you have been brainwashed or are stupid.
