I started with no experience 4 months ago.My boss started teaching me fron scratch.Now I'm helping him a lot but still have lots of things to work on!

4-6 months. If you openly admit you still have lots of things to work on, then I would wait a little longer.

you should wait a minimum of 6 months. did you discuss compensation before you were hired? how quickly are you expected to learn on the job? if you are learning faster than others and taking on more responsibility than others that have been there longer than you, 6 months is fine. if not wait longer. do you really feel you've earned a raise or do you just want more money? that is what your boss will be asking themselves.

wait for 8 months or ask during your annual appraisal which ever is earlier
