foundation isn't supposed to make your skin look a different color - unless, that is, you have redness or discoloration in your skin. if so, your foundation may just not be heavy enough - in other words, you need better coverage. try an oil-free, non-codemogenic cream foundation. they offer much better coverage than a liquid or powder.

Hi the idea of a foundation is not to colour your skin but to give you a good base for applying the rest of your makeup (and maybe hide the odd blemish.
If your foundation does not add much colour to your face then congratulations you have probably found your ideal colour at the moment - this could change if you get a tan for example.
If you want to add more colour to your face, a light tan perhaps, then bronzing face pearls are ideal (after you have applied normal loose face powder), if you use them with a good quality powder brush and a little at a time you can gradually build up the colour you want. To avoid that nasty line you see many people with along their jaw, blend the powder into your neck. A little is also good for emphasising you collar bone and cleavage.
Hope that this helps.

foundation should not really be used to give skin a colour. Your foundation shade should be the same as your skin tone. It is designed to even out skin tone to give a flawless look. To add colour to your skin use a fake tan. Or use a bronzer.
Invest in a good foundation, it will give you a much better finish than cheaper makes.

Foundation isn't meant to colour your skin, just provide a good base for your makeup and maybe even out your skin tone. If it was colouring your skin you would have to be very careful to blend it in so you didn't end up looking like Kat out of Eastenders.

So many foundations seem to disappear into the skin and do absolutely nothing. You need Estee Lauder Maximum cover, just very lightly applied. Go and test it at the beauty counter. You will be amazed. It stays put all day long and covers any uneveness beautifully. You will never look back.

What kind of foundation are you using? There are some foundations that blend with your skin tone to give this natural look and makes your skin look the same, maybe you should look for different brands too. I've personally have tried Revlon's Color Stay, its acutually pretty good. Maybe you should look into the "creamier" foundation. I hope this helps.

it isn't supposed to,, it should blend in with your own skin tone ,, if it is a different colour regardless of how ever slight, you will end up with a horrid line round your face where it's never gonna blend in with the rest of you properly,,,, if you want to add colour, add blush or use a bit of bronzing powder instead

Try mineral foundation. You can put more on to give more coverage but it looks natural.
puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.

if its giving good coverage , but looking a bit pale , try a light sweep of bronzer, like bourjois . it will add some colour without getting a tide mark from foundation which is too dark , and will also give you a healthy glow , just dont overdo it !!! hope this helps

bypass to a stable cosmetics counter. it quite is rather confusing to locate the main appropriate shade in a drug shop. A product that feels like the main appropriate shade on your epidermis in the bottle, won't be so stable as quickly as you place it on your epidermis. you wind up dropping lots funds, procuring low-priced products that don't artwork. only bypass forward and function a expert pick a shade to examine your epidermis, and a sort of commencing place it is sweet on your oily epidermis. As for lipstick, it is a tricky one. i'm consistently re-employing it. they have lipsticks available that are meant to final longer, yet i do in comparison to how they sense on my lips. you desire to to ask a cosmetologist in regards to the lipstick, too. you may desire to besides spend the money, and get it real!
