Of course, and here is some absolute proof:
Globally, there are only about 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witnesses, yet their publications "The Watchtower" and "Awake!" enjoy circulations of about 27 million and 32 million per issue.

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.

However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.

(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers

Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

YES! I'm a Jehovah's Witness. And I am only 17 years old. I have been one for about 5 years. And I'd like to clear some things up... We DO NOT brainwash people-they have free will to listen or not to listen to what we have to tell them. We DO NOT get paid for knocking on doors-It is all voulentary. We all base our beliefs on God's Word the Bible, NO teachings or anything we are telling u is in our opinion, rather straight from the Bible, which God wrote. We do believe Jesus is God's son... ppl think we don;t beleive in Jesus, well WE DO and he did die for us, mankind!

I do. In fact I love several of them.

BUT I also pray for them because they are among
the uncreated Creator's worst enemies. They think
of themselves as JWs (I can't spell it out because of
their abusive use of God's Name).

My mom became a JW before I was born and she
falsely witnessed to several of her siblings and her
mother so that they too became JWs. One of my
aunts was told that her child was born with a large
birthmark because she wasn't a JW!!!

I can't remember what the stories were that were
told to my grandmother about the things that were
happening to her because she wasn't a JW. She
eventually got worn down but not until AFTER she
retired from teaching.

One of my mother's siblings did NOT become a JW
because she was on the verge of becoming a teacher
but she would have to take an oath promising to
uphold the laws of the US Constitution but JWs
don't take oaths. Teaching was more important to
her than that and I am very grateful that she didn't
give in.

I do study the Bible and when JWs knock on my
door I often talk to them. There have been
several that I have studied with but I do it only
because I like them so much and feel such
humungous PITY for them. If they remain as
JWs (I call them Watchtower Witnesses) then
on Judgment Day they will have not only their
own unforgiven sins to answer for BUT the
sins of all of the unsuspecting people who have
believed their partial truths.

JWs practice a religion that is man-made and it
is according to works not according to Grace.

I do. I used to be one. I'm not anymore because I do not believe that a large part of what they call "truth", is actually true. Nevertheless, I appreciate the fine qualities that many of them display just as I appreciate those qualities in people who are not Jehovah's Witnesses.

I am saddened by their blind faith in men which prevents them from seeing the truth about what they call "the truth", but that is more of a reason to pity than to dislike.

No. I don't like having my free time interrupted by someone ringing the bell and trying to convert my beliefs.
