I assume by sweaty you mean oily. Here are some ideas:

- mineral makeup like loose powder foundation and setting powder - Bare Minerals and Physicians Formula are two good brands

- if you must wear a liquid foundation, look for one that is oil free and for oily, acne prone skin. These formulas usually dry into your skin and don't sit on top where the oil is. (Try Neutrogena)

- Also, anytime you use a liquid foundation, you will need to set it with a layer of pressed powder and then a layer of loose powder (both made for oily, acne prone skin)

- Buy some blotting papers, which can be found at Wal-greens. These are small pieces of tissue like paper which you sweep across your skin to absorb the oil. Hopefully most of your makeup stays intact when you do this.

- Before you put on any makeup, spread a layer of clear acne medication on your skin (even if you don't have an acne problem). Clearasil is a good cheap one but there are plenty of different ones. This will dry your skin and act as a primer for your makeup (by slowing the oil process and smoothing out your skin).

- Try hard not to touch your face with your hands throughout the day. Your hands have lots of oil on them that will only make your natural face oil worse.

- Lastly, even though it's a pain, you probably will have to reapply at least your powder. It sucks but it's a part of having oily skin.

1. Invest in Model in a Bottle.
2. Use a long-wear, oil-free, matte-finish foundation.
3. Finish with a dusting of loose powder applied with a large brush.

I find Barbra Daly at tesco oil free foundation really good. theres also a product that you can apply under foundation called something like Oil Control Genuis 8, I got a free sample off the net and its brilliant, no shine at all.

Try The Revlon Colorstay Active. I haven't actually tried it, but their selling point is that it is "sweat proof, sun proof, and rub-off proof, even during exercise."
Or you can try Clinique's Superfit Makeup foundation. It is also designed to stay on all day and also transfer resistant. Good luck!

you need to use a matt foundation.

have a look in boots for a none oily moisturiser and apply, you can get special ones that make you skin less oily.

you can also buy little tissues, clean and clear sell them, they are blue and you wipe them over your face even when you are wearing make up and it removes the oil.

I don't use foundation myself because it feels cloggy and my skin feels dreadful. I use a tinted moisturiser it does the same job and feels a lot better. You can buy good tinted moisturisers at boots/ superdrug or any cosmetic counter.

after you apply your makeup you can spritz it with rosewater lightly and put your face in the freezer to seal it. or use aerosol hairspray over it, but that causes lots of pimples.
