STOP!!!! You don't "treat" a baseball glove. You use it, keep it clean with a slightly damp cloth, and store it opened, palm side down. NEVER put it under a matress, as that will make it end up as a pancake. Also note that the fingers should have a slight curl inward, as to make fielding a ground ball easier. If the glove is made of a high quality leather, no oil should be needed. Just keep it clean and dry. After years of wear and tear, you can toss it into a tub of cold water, let it soak overnite, then allow it to dry by placing it in a dry environment, opened, and palm down. Afterwards, you may apply a VERY LIGHT coat of mink paste, not oil. This will help repell moisture. Oil only makes a glove heavy, and may actually make it easier for the leather to rip.

You can use leather oil and conditioner sold at athletic stores or a product called mink oil which is sold at places like walmart or target and some shoe stores. Mink oil will also help with water prooofing.

As a Pro Softball Player you are supposed to take a cloth(damp) and just wipe off after every use. Treat it how you may.
