I don't think there is anything illegal about being a leper.

a leper? Tell him to get a more modern affliction, like bird flu
I am pretty sure he can show up to work though, but if he, or anyone is infectious to the workplace at large, he should probably not go to work

i think they have medications these days i dont think they are required to go to a colony...i dont even know if the colonies still exist
