1. Buy a LIVE trap, which doesn't hurt them. Take the caught mice to a vacant lot, open field, etc.
2. Close up all cracks, like in spaces around plumbing, sinks, vents, etc.
3. The scent of a cat will discourage them, so a cat is a good idea, too.

The only natural way to rid your house and kitchen of mice is to get a cat, set up humane traps, and clean your house well. If you have food all over then mice will be attracted to that. Also, keep all dry foods in containers and food in the fridge or sealed in containers.

Cats would be my first choice, but only if it has a proven track record. I've owned cats that would run from a mouse! If your allergic to cats, you might try a Chiuahuah. They like to chase mice. WORD OF WARNING: Cats and dogs are natural predators and mice are natural prey. Cats and dogs WILL eat the mice, perhaps even in your presence. DON'T freak out! Just go to another room until their dinner is over. They will thank you for it and you won't have to buy as much pet food!

the best solution is to get a cat involved. But not just any cat a real killer. like my two cats(I have three) Baby and Handsome. they are the sweetest cat but realentless when it comes to other small animals. They kill everything they can get their paws on. Birds two bats countless mice and a rabbit once. If you know of such a cat than mabey the person would let you borrow than that would be your best shot without using dangerous poisons and such. good luck

Adopt a cat. Or two....then they'll have another to play with. Get a litter box, and keep the cat inside. After awhile, mice and rats won't come anywhere near.

Go to a farm and ask if they have any barn cats (kittens) they could part with. Not sure which is worse though cat **** or mouse ****.

Buy DCON and mouse traps. Naturally is a ******** way of saying you don't want to kill them. Mice are disease carrying pests. They carry Lymes, Bubonic plague to name a few.
