I know my original quesiton is vague, so I'll try to be a little more specific here. I'm traveling to Europe for 2 weeks this coming spring and I'd like to find some reasonably priced places for me and my 4 family members to stay. We are looking to spend under 150 Euros per night for the 5 of us if at all possible. Any place that is in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, or France would help me out a lot. However, I am not going to visit Northern Germany or Southern Italy. If you could give me any place that meets these criteria I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.

Hello:

Go to http://www.grab2travel.com/
Go to "Hotels" section.

Click on SmartSearch - you can enter your trip detail once and can compare rates on multiple major travelsite from one place. You dont have to enter trip detail again and again.. thats very helpful.. I liked it.

In Rome, we always stay at the Hotel delle Muse http://www.hoteldellemuse.com You can read all about it in our non-commercial Italy travelogues: http://www.thetravelzine.com It's located in the beautiful residential section called Parioli - quiet and safe - a great place to stay! Of particular interest to you will be the delicious complete dinners for 15 euros per person.

Have a wonderful trip!

Try Prague, Czech Republic. Check into hostels as that one person provided the link. If you want to save money, don't spend a lot on hotels. Hostels should be cheapest, most afforable.

Try this site. The hostels will be very cheap but basic.
Some of them will have age restrictions so its best tom double-check before booking.
