You move into a neighborhood that seems very family friendly, but no one is "really " interested in bringing you into their circle. Or the extent of your friendship stops at your commonly aged kids and when they play together you might talk but nevermind trying to have an actual adult friendship where you talk about things other than kids. Or you join a church that seems like there is this great community of friendly people (women) that seem to have many common interests as your own that they share during some social interaction during "sunday school" or "bible study" or even a moms group meeting. If try to get together or become friends outside the group then poof they politely say "yeah, we should get together", but you exchange numbers and you never get that call or even a call back after being the one to be the first to call.
Do some women have enough friends that they don't want to have any more?
