I have been having really weird dreams for a couple months now. Some examples are: Falling off a brigde after singing Sexyback while dancing on the railing, My 'best friend' dying out of the blue, and having John Stamos (Uncle Jesse from Full House) be my dentist and then turning into my best friend that I go see everyday. Its really weird, and there are a lot more! Is this okay? Is it showing signs of anything?

Let me do a brief analysis.

Falling off a bridge after singing = losing control and respoect
Sexyback while dancing on the rail = losing control
best friend dying out of blue = helpless
Uncle Jesse becomes your dentist = desire to be famous or with famous

In summary, you are losing respect, and control in your life and you are seeking for support. Every single dream must have some common thing. That is the key to interpret your dreams.

The Brain & Subcontious Have a Need TO Mix Or Totally Alienate The "Logic" and Collective Way Of Thinking That Has Been Programed Into Us After We Were Born. (Favoring Its Own wonderous Alien Logic)

It Might Not Have A Meaning That We Can Comprehend Because Our General Comprehension Of Things Comes not From that Alien Logic but Our learned one.

But It usually has A Meaning in One Of the 2 Realms.

(If You Can't Understand It, Not To Worry, Your Subconcious Is Way More Powerful Than Your Day To Day Concious Mind. Whatever Meaning It Was Creating through The Dream That ACTUALLY GOT STORED In Your Memory, As opposed to most dreams you have, Is There Mainly To Serve It. And That's The Most Important Thing.)

I've had (apart from other extremely bizarre drems that could have no meaning) dreams that mixed time and other measurement & concepts in a way not yet realised in the scientific world.

It frustrated me so much each time because it was so logical and clear in the dream and always an OMG !!! moment, but when I woke, the conceptual connection was faded instantly by my consious brain and logic, If I could have just kept it in my head the way that my sleeping mind had created it, I'm sure I would be a well known contributor to Mankind by now... But hey, S**t happens !!!

Dreams mean different things to different people. The meaning can rely on whether you find Stamos attractive, if you like the sexyback song, etc. There are a TON of really well-written dream reference books out there. There are a few theories about dreams. One thought is that they are reflective of the unconscious, another theory is that they are random firings of the neruons in the cortex, and the final opinion is that they are symbollic and should be taken as signs. I personally believe the final theory and always keep a dream reference guide by my bed so that in the morning I can look things up. I personally recommend the Illistrated Dream Dictionary. It is colorful and helpful. There are a ton available on Amazon for really cheap!

Sounds pretty normal. Watch some Carnivale, and dreams like these will seem like small biscuits.

You could also read some of Jung's writing about dreams. Falling means uncertainty, Uncle Jesse is super-persona, teeth tend to represent money, etc.

If they aren't recurring, I doubt there is a major pattern that could be some kind of special message from your subconscious.

Wait until you end a long relationship or have a crush that rejects you, then you will have some recurring dreams!

....while singing Sexyback?? LOL, sorry.

Have you been taking a new medication lately? Are you eating spicy or rich foods before going to sleep? You should keep a small notebook next to your bed and jot down your dreams as soon as you wake up. Remember all the details that you can and see if there is a pattern.

I have a dream interpretation book that helps me out alot. When I have really weird ones like that, I refer to it.

Good Luck to you!!!

Hi,
I love trying to 'get' dreams and obviously the better you know someone , then the easier it is to recognise the significance in their dreams;
The only thing that stands out from your few descriptions are changes, v.big changes - whether (and this is what I'd go for) your longing for a big change in some part of your life, or things are changing in your life that you feel unable to influence. What are your feelings whilst having these dreams; excited, afraid, helpless or other?

Hope this is of some help,
Plug

Anyone who dreams of John Stamos has issues. I suggest you get that checked out.

It sounds like you have some form of stress in your life and your subconcious is letting it out in your dreams. Do stress exercises or have a good long talk with your best friend.

It sounds to me that you are afraid of dying or of someone close to you dying. I am not a professional, however, and it's obvious that some people on this site are not either. So I would suggest that if you can, find someone who can seriously interpret your dreams for you.
