Just pay your part, if that was all you were going to order and you knew it, should have asked to have your order on a separate bill.

I used to be a waitress. They can seperate the check to just charge you for your appetizer alone. It doesn't have to be divided by the check total, just the items ordered by person. If you're worried about hurtin feelings or looking bad, just tell direct your question about the check towards the waitress and not your friends. That should make it look like something the restaurant did wrong and not make you look like a cheap ***. Also, if you shared the app with anyone else, you can have the appetizer price divided onto different checks too. Just ask, they'll get it striaghtened out.

This option should have been discussed before dinner. If not, depending on who the group is (friends or business) I would explain that I only ordered such and such and only have so much $$ to pay for it and pay only for that, or, I would pay my portion of the bill divided up and make a mental not to either not go out to dinner with the same group again or plan for the divide next time.

everybody would desire to pay for the products they ordered. despite if everybody is a meat-eater, steak expenses extra desirable than hen, so splitting it "frivolously" might reason the guy eating some thing extra value-effective to pay for component of the different's meal. yet another situation with splitting it via entire value-- sometimes a guy or woman will throw in "the version." If there are 5 human beings and each guy or woman's "share" is say 17.50 and four human beings throw in a twenty, the 5th guy or woman would desire to objective to throw in a 10 and say that "all of it comes out". the only trouble-free way is to divide it up in keeping with what you easily ate. If available, have the eating place do separate tests. If it is too enormous a collection or there are different problems with that concept, attempt to function it up as heavily as available. of direction, despite your group feels trouble-free is the final thank you to bypass.

If you go out all the time with these friends just pay up-what comes around goes around-next time you know better and what to order to even out. If you hardly go out with this group I say you speak up-but be aware if you do the others will talk about you like a dog....

Put in the money for what you ordered unless of course the agreement up front was to split the bill evenly.

Suck it up, it's not worth making everyone uncomfortable and creating a scene for a few dollars. Next time you go out with your friends just ask the waiter/waitress for separate checks and avoid this problem in the future.

I usually just pay my "share" without arguing. Life is too short to waste time over trivial amounts of money. It usually all balances out in the end anyway.

Depends on the group. It is was a business thing, I would just pay. If I was with friends, of course I would speak up...my friends would be cool with that...
