Whats the best way to hang a role of toilet paper. Should the sheets tear from the top or bottom of the role?

Should tear from the top, but if you lived at my house, the role never hangs, it just sits on top, because everybody's to lazy to change the role.

The free end of the roll should come from the top of the roll. Those poor misguided bog roll users who mount the roll incorrectly must have extreme difficulty ripping off the paper from underneath and slightly behind the body of the roll.

I always have 3 on the go. One that hangs over the top. And two rolls that sit on the tank. The rolls on the tank disappear the quickest so it must be the fastest, lol.

There have been many an arguement about this. We have ours come over the top. Every hotel we've ever stayed at is that way, but it's really kind of minor.. Whatever you like should be fine.

The important thing is that it's there when you need it.

They should come from the top and then you can fold the sides of the first sheet behind it to form a triangle.

Definatly the bottom if the roll starts to free wheel you wont lose as much and you can tear against the wall thats my system always bottom to bottom.

Listen, I'm just estatic if someone, other than me (I live in all male household) hangs it. So when it does happen I try not to be too critical.

But most days it's in the back here in our house. Don't know why I prefer it that way, I just do.
