I think it should be either Jose Maria Aznar of Spain or Tony Blair of the UK.

Kofi Annan was a disaster. We cannont have another Secretary-General who appeases brutal regimes like Venezuela, Iran and North Korea.

Aznar and Blair understand the threat that Jihadists pose to the whole world. They can use their European contacts to influence the weak and socialist politicians in the EU.

A new Secretary-General from Asia will be unable to confront dangerous Islamic regimes.

Right, just what we need, another outlet for the Blair ego.

Blair does not respect the UN. The British public demanded a second UN resolution before the invasion of Iraq. Blair ignored the public, and went ahead anyway. It later turns out the reasons for war were false and Blair knew this. We don't need America's Lapdog allowing the invasion of more countries that could possibly pose a threat some time in the future to US interests (that would be all of them, then).

You don't fight terror with guns or bombs. If you kill one terrorist, that just creates more terrorists. It is in fact the *tactics* of terrorists to increase suffering within their own communities - happy people don't blow themselves up. The way to fight terror is with aid and debt relief. The War On Terror™ is a sham to take away our freedoms under the banner of protecting our freedoms.

Blair is far too divisive - even in the UK, nobody really likes him any more, and only support him because at least he isn't a Tory.

By "weak", I assume you mean here "don't see how blowing up Muslims is going to make the Muslims not hate us any more", although you'd put it in more biased terms such as "fail to support war", as if war was inherently a good thing, and not supporting it was a bad thing. The chickenhawk brain is a curious thing.

Bottom line, nice rant there, thanks for the invite, you're wrong. If you think a confrontational attitude is great, go sign up or shut up.
