#1 an SUV is a term created so that a station wagon could get a respectable term when it finally got a transfer case. Real 4X4's are still called trucks, regardless of a closed 5 passenger cab or a two seat cab, so your question is moot. Shut up go play barbies or something, you twit.

Those "cabs" can come off whereas with an SUV you can't remove the back..gotta hope everything fits in there..now doncha? Nobody is trying to fool anybody sweetheart...they are for utility purposes.gawd! And if I want my dog in the back would rather have a cab...and if I want to go camping..VOILA! GOOD GRIEF CHILD

Those "cabs" are called campers. They're used for camping. They're also used for storage of material during transportation that might be damaged if left open to the elements. They are used for many different purposes.
The owners of such "cabs" are not trying to fool anyone into beleving it is an SUV.
Use a little common sense when drawing conclusions please.

You are going to offend a lot of rednecks when you accuse them of trying to act like they are driving a (horrors) preppy SUV. The cap is to keep the stuff they are hauling dry. It's not an image thing.
