Certain people seem to think its ok to kill someone just because you don't follow their faith, for example...I would say except for euthanasia and self defense, no one should be doing anything to take anyone elses life...another example, other cultures treat and abuse women or children...is there any that most if not all people in the world agree on?

The truth is that there will never be a moral or ethical rule most people will agree on. There are simply too many different situations, opinions, etc, for everyone to just "get along". It's really an issue of not being able to satisfy a majority of people. No matter how many people are happy there will still be those who are not. It's sad really.

I think that ethical and moral rules/norms are not global, but spawn as a result of the local culture. You will find *most* cultures throughout history frown upon

murder
cannibalism
attempts to overthrow the current culture
theft

That's about it
